PORGY AND BESS @ A.R.T. : NYC Workshop

I'm so excited! I will be a Production Assistant for the workshop of PORGY AND BESS directed by Diane Paulus. (!!!!!) The workshop will be in NYC. The production will play at The American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA starting August 17th, 2011.

Casting has been announced for some of the principal roles: Norm Lewis as Porgy, Audra McDonald as Bess and David Alan Grier as Sportin' Life. The piece is being re-imagined by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks. The creative team will also include choreographer Ronald K. Brown

I am thrilled to be a part of the workshop. I had a fantastic time observing Diane direct THE CAPEMAN last summer for The Public's Shakespeare in the Park. I know this eperience will be just as rich.
